I had a bit of a hard time managing my recurring donation. Maybe I missed something, but the settings weren’t very clear to me, and I ended up having to contact support just to sort it out. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just more of a hassle than I thought it would be.

I got my account set up without much trouble. Most of it worked fine, even though I’m not totally sure I did everything in the right order. It felt easy enough, so I’d say it was a good experience overall.

I used pledge.com for a small fundraiser, and overall the money did get sent where it needed to go. At first, though, the final amount looked a little different than I expected, which made me do that annoying double-checking thing where you open three tabs and convince yourself you missed something. I was also making coffee at the time, so maybe not my sharpest accounting moment.
Support got back to me and explained it was basically fees and timing, and the numbers did line up later. So it wasn’t a bad experience, just not super clear upfront. I’d use it again, but I do wish the disbursement breakdown was easier to understand from the start...

The site does work, but I found the layout kind of messy. I kept having to click around just to find basic things, and then you get to some pages where it’s not really clear what you’re supposed to do next. It’s not totally broken or anything, but it feels more frustrating than it needs to be. I think it could be way simpler and smoother to use

The only small thing I’d say is that the site feels basic, so if you’re expecting a super polished or detailed experience, it might seem a little plain. But nothing was confusing, and I got my email confirmation right away, which I really appreciated.

At the end of the day, it did exactly what I needed it to do. I’m careful about where I enter my card info, and this felt trustworthy enough that I’d use it again without worrying.

I wanted to like the event tools, but the whole thing felt harder than it needed to be. Setup took way longer than I expected, and during our fundraiser, some of the pages started glitching at inconvenient moments. Support did get back to us eventually, but it was slower than what we really needed in the middle of an event. Reading between the lines, it felt like the platform can probably handle simple stuff fine, but once things get a little more time-sensitive, it starts to show its cracks.

I liked the idea of using Pledge and went in thinking it might make things easier. In some ways it did, to be fair. A few features were useful, and it wasn’t a complete waste or anything dramatic like that. But for the price, I kept waiting for the part where it suddenly felt worth the extra money. Spoiler: that part never really showed up. The fees add up, and the overall value just didn’t match what I expected. i ended up feeling like I probably could’ve done the same thing somewhere else for less. Not awful, not amazing, just kind of expensive for what it is

I was happy with the fees. They were lower than I expected, everything felt fair, and there weren’t any surprise charges along the way

I really liked how easy Pledge was to customize. The donation page didn’t feel locked into one specific look, so I could move things around and make it match our event quickly. It just felt simple to use, which was nice, especially when you're trying to get everything ready and... yeah, it just made that part way less stressful...
